Amazing Pippi, the strongest girl in the world! Am so delighted to introduce the fantastic Pippi in enamel mugs by Finnish Muurla. Their enamelware is handmade and therefore unique. This is a lightweight and perfect for everyday use both indoors and outdoor.

This is a beautiful design, white background, with small pink dots and showing Pippi lifting her horse up high.

Pippi Långstrump (Longstocking) was created by one of Sweden's most beloved authors Astrid Lindgren. Astrid Lindgren's daughter asked her to tell her a story while she was ill, and Pippi was introduced to the world in 1941 (first book 1945). She is not only the strongest girl in the world but also strong-willed, creative and independent. When the books was released they were seen as controversial as Pippi spoke against adults and was seen as "difficult", but soon became of the most beloved character created by Astrid Lindgren. She lives in Villa Villekulla with her monkey Herr (Mr) Nilsson and her horse Lilla Gubben who lives on the veranda. Her dad is a king of an island at the southern sea, and her mother is in heaven. Next door lives Tommy and Annika. This trio goes on adventures and enjoy daily activities.
